Ahhhh, a quiet basement--and a very good feeling that HYDRACLEAN did their magic and we have a clean basement now! For the first time in four weeks, Richard and I both feel relieved as I think, even with a positive attitude we had throughout the whole ordeal, I think my shoulders were still wound around my ears somewhere--now they are settling down to where they need to be and maybe for the first time in a long time, I took a proper breath.

We can now, implement the rest of the restoration such as having the furnace installed next week as well as having Basement Systems re-install the water protection around the wood foundation-but it's all thanks to the professional services provided by HYDRACLEAN and staff that gives us peace of mind that the basement is now up to a good standard and we can keep moving to the next phase. It's all so good.

Richard and I both appreciate the professionalism, skill, knowledge and good manners, consistently displayed by all of your staff during what was and is a very extraordinary time for us. Everybody who came to the site were very friendly, polite and easy to work with and Byron did a very good job easing our minds and staying on top of what needed to be done everyday.

The purpose of this letter is to share with you the excellent service and personal attention provided by HYDRACLEAN Restoration Services Ltd, a medium size specialized and IICRC-certified and licensed business that provides 24 hour emergency response to home and business owners in the event of flood or fire, and that is also certified to do home insurance claim work including asbestos abatement.

In April 2013, I discovered upon return to my parents’ second home at 108 Edith Court, located off Traders Cove Road on the Westside, that water was running slowly due to a broken frost free hose bib, and had essentially flooded the ground floor to a depth of about an inch and a half and a bit more in a couple places. I promptly shut the internal house water off and phoned Mark Gotro, President, Founder, and Operations Manager of HYDRACLEAN. Mark confirmed I had shut off the house water, and, from this point on, completely took care of the entire insurance claim from start to finish. All of his company’s team’s restoration work (removal and reinstallation of almost the entire ground floor carpet, wood laminate flooring, specialized tiling, affected furniture structures such as the bathroom vanity and various wall beams and panelling, etc) was conducted with the highest degree of professionalism I have seen in any business.

My in-claim site visits were followed by direct inquiry to Mark were met with fully satisfactory and courteous answers showing the breadth of Mark’s personal he has obtained in running and growing his company since 1998/2000; he kept us up to date and informed by computer of various asbestos testing statuses, drying, cooling, and acclimatization cycles, part-order protocols, and much other detail I wanted to know about for my parents. Ultimately I was left with little doubt that, as homeowners dealing with a flood claim, our experience was as close to the best possible experience and outcome imaginable! The house was not only better than we left it before the flood, Mark personally took the time to ensure the minimal dust intrusion to the stairs was completely vacuumed up and cleaned well beyond the point of dust intrusion that we as homeowners had caused in removing a dust shield at the base of the ground floor stairs in order to facilitate easier access for my aged father.

Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend HYDRACLEAN Services be both the insurer’s and home owners’ choice when possible - they went above and beyond well after even exceeding the normal professional standards applicable in all aspects of ICC certified home insurance claim restoration and remediation.

With that, we wish him all the best and continued growth and success in all that he does, both as a leading business person in the Okanagan Valley, and also personally to both he and his wife and their two young daughters.

HYDRACLEAN has been performing restoration services on the Musqueam Indian Band reservation for the past one and a half years.

The Project Manager that represented HYDRACLEAN has always been responsive and professional in working with the Band Members. Often there are difficult circumstances on reserve and staff has performed their work in a caring, respectful and non-judgmental way. HYDRACLEAN's response time in an emergency has always been within an hour, twenty four hours per day, seven days a week.

in June of this year, we had a major flood in our basement, three rooms had been damage, I called HYDRACLEAN, and within a hour they were here to inspect the damage.

Mark Harding then explained what they did and how they handle everything, we had proper insurance for both building and contents. He then contacted both and the same day everything was approved for clean up and repaired, or. replace.

So for the next month they had everything back to what it was before, even better new floors, painting, they had to move everything out into storage, also we have a child with heath problems, so they brought in the special equipment so we could stay in the house while the restoration was completed.

All the contractors employees were very helpful, friendly and took personal pride in what they did, and even work with myself, to put everything they way it was and even better in some areas.

I have an office as we are a commercial Refrigeration and Heating company, and a full sewing room, with very expensive machines.

I've been meaning to write this letter for some time, but I wanted to again thank you and your team for your help recovering from the Calgary floods of 2013.

As you know, we had approximately 7’ of water and sewer in the basement of our home as a result of the Calgary flood. It was a very difficult time for those of us in Calgary and surrounding areas that went through the flood, particularly with the overwhelming the clean-up effort. However, HYDRACLEAN under your supervision got our basement cleaned up, disinfected and dried in such a prompt and complete manner that we were able to begin the reconstruction process very quickly. Late last fall I came home from overnight to a small river running down my driveway that I soon discovered was coming from inside my garage, through the ceiling that had caved in from a broken hot water line under my kitchen sink. I called HYDRACLEAN immediately and Mark Harding talked me through finding the water main shut off and assured me that his guys would be at my house to mop up the mess as soon as possible. Mark and his crew arrived very soon after we hung up and started mopping up the water and took action to prevent further damage.

Throughout the entire stressful and emotional process, Mark always reassured me that things would be back to great in no time and I'll be back in my home for Christmas. The HYDRACLEAN crew met all my expectations and beyond. They took care of my water damaged belongings and salvaged as much of my personal items as possible, they even saved thousands of water soaked irreplaceable photos.

I just wanted to say that Mark Gotro and the entire HYDRACLEAN Team is awesome. Right from when our place was damaged all the way to the follow up Mark and his team was courteous, friendly, prompt, honest, and my personal favourite...quick! To top it all off I personally feel they go way above what is expected. When re-installing our baseboards, Chris, noticed our curtain rod was coming loose (something I never noticed). He said "don't worry" and he put extra long anchors in to make sure an earthquake would shake it loose again. Its the little things that really make me and other customers happy.
